The Sweet Strains of Thy Words
Thy words flow like thick, sweet amber honey
Rich and smooth, slow and methodical
Tantalizing the tongue with vivid sensuality.
Each word I read over and over, unhurriedly
One at a time, out loud and deliberate,
Tasting the sweetness of their meaning.
I sip the flavor of thy graphic innuendoes
Which dost flood my soul with radiance,
Immersing my mind into thine own passion.
A passion unto itself, a voracious need
Never covetous, but always grasping
Yearning for more thoughts unreserved.
